This place was far from what's shown on the website. When you get there your given a site that's picked for you "this site should be big enough" the guy said. 3 sites later they had one that fit my 27' travel trailer. There is a lot of seasonals that are rude and party until 2am because the park enforces no curfew or rules. This is not a place to take kids, there are too many drunks for this to be anything other than a redneck family campground. I have never been so disappointed to take my family on vacation and advise anyone who values the word "class" to avoid this place.
We booked a week stay for June 2017. About three weeks prior to our arrival, my wife and I decided to stop in to check out the campground. We were very disappointed at the size of the sites. Without exaggeration, many trailers were within a foot of each other when the slide outs and awnings were extended. Every site was extreamly small and cramped. Many sites didn't even have room for a vehicle to be parked. Some did not have fire rings due to the proximity to other cabins or trailers. Needless to say we cancelled our reservation and went elsewhere.
I never write reviews but I did not want families travelling long distances and expecting a good vacation to come here. We arrived on a friday night and left on Saturday. The sites are extremely small, most sites did not even offer a fire pit. There is an indoor pool that at its deepest is 5 foot. Miniature golf course was totally not maintained in fact, the entire campground seemed to be this way. I met numerous other campers there who felt the same way. I would definetly not recommend this campground. MY kids were very dissapointed
While the park has a lit to offer and the staff could not be nicer, the park needs a complete overhaul and updating. Pool is spacious but old and worn. The entire building needs paint and updating. The hot tub didn't work the entire summer the boats did not have Orr's. They were also dirty.
This place is disgusting. And I mean disgusting. We pulled in two hours ago and I am already looking for another campground. We were scheduled for a two week stay. Our neighbors sewer hose is right out our front door. There are piles of doggy poop bags flowing outside of the trash can. our neighbors stated the same disgust and said the people in our spot the day before pulled in and pulled right back out. I am disgusted with this entire place. My best advice is to stay far away. Far, far away.
