If you hit the park in late fall, you're going to have a great time since there's few people to crowd the place or exhibits.

Awesome history maintained here. The volunteers do a great job telling the story of the colonial times. Each building had its own story to tell. Fun for the family.

This was a super cool visit. Like most Massachusetts kids, I visited here when I was a second grader and saw all the cool displays and people. Visiting it as an adult seems a little different. The whole place feels smaller and you notice that not every Old Timee Demonstration is not constantly staffed.

Really cool place to spend a day outdoors with the family. Almost the opposite of an amusement park. Instead of loud, intense, chaos you get a relaxing, peaceful place to walk around and enjoy the day. There is a TON of stuff to see. The food at the main Cafeteria place (I forget the name) was SHOCKINGLY good and very reasonably priced. We fed 5 people for less than 60 bucks if I recall correctly and we all actually enjoyed our food. That NEVER happens at places like this. The food is usually mediocre and overpriced. We will 100 percent be coming back.

Great Christmas program. Haven't been during the normal time of year, but going during the Christmas season has quickly become a tradition. One caution...don't order the peppermint schnapps hot chocolate or the coffee and Baileys...most expensive drinks you'll buy all year and they taste like warm water with a thimble full of the good stuff.

Plus they offer college discounts.

The staff are really courteous to explain everything they're doing and how things were back then. Definitely a great way to kill and afternoon and learn some history while you're at it.

Great historical re-creation of a time gone by. This place is very well done and your time here will be rewarded with a lot of interesting things to see and do. There are good choices to dining and shopping as well. The access is easy off the highway and I can't recommend this place enough.
